"tee-kigh-runga" - where the soil is rich and the food is plentiful, Te Kairanga is one of Martinborough's founding vineyards established over 20 years ago. In keeping with the pioneering spirit surrounding the vineyard, a number of Te Kairanga wines have hailed from Martinborough's history and that of its inhabitants dating back to 1879. Our own John Martin Reserve Pinot Noir, known and loved by many, is notably named after the founding
father of Martinborough - John Martin himself. Likewise the Pinot Runholder is aptly named as a tribute to the runholders of the land back in time.

Synonymous with international benchmark Pinots and good times, Te Kairanga is well known for it's annual TK Day and for being a key site during Toast Martinborough.

With a dedicated team in both the vineyard and winery, we look forward to celebrating the upcoming seasons in true TK style.

Te Kairanga is the perfect place to enjoy fine wine and warm hospitality. If you can’t visit us, the spirit of Te Kairanga (TK to our friends) need only be as far away as your cellar, your local wine store or, your favourite restaurant. One day we hope to welcome you to our place. In the meantime, come on in and get to know us and our wine a little better.
