Youthful and fragrant, this charming rose shows rockmelon, lemon peel, watermelon and red cherry aromas on the nose, followed by a vibrant palate that is juicy and lively. The wine is delightfully attractive and immediate, and offers zesty flavours and a lingering silky finish. A lovely dry style. At its best: now to 2018.

This is instantly appealing on the nose showing poached pear, green rockmelon, floral and fig characters. The palate delivers excellent fruit weight and intensity, while remaining elegant and pristine, wonderfully supported by silky texture and refreshing acidity. At its best: now to 2019.

A beautifully composed chardonnay, the complex bouquet shows white stone fruit, rockmelon, nougat and brioche characters with a hint of vanilla. It is concentrated and beautifully weighted on the palate, and delivers lovely fruit richness and creamy texture, wonderfully framed by seamlessly integrated acidity. At its best: now to 2021.

Wharekauhau Food and Wine Society Farmers Market

Starting Sunday November 6

Since 2012 the Farmers Market at Te Kairanga have been an imporant social event for the Wairarapa community. Starting November 6, the Farmers Market will commence on the first Sunday of every month (excluding January 2nd). This year proceeds generated by hosting the event will be donoated to the Life Flight Trust.

Come down to enjoy live music, local produce and delicious food.

Future Farmer's Market Dates:
6th November
4th December
2nd January (Monday)
5th February
5th March
2nd April

The wine offers excellent mid palate weight and fine texture, together with elegant savoury complexity, finishing long, smooth and delicately dry. Elegant yet flavoursome. At its best: now to 2020.
