| Martinborough, Chardonnay 2006 :: $21.00
21.00 |
Delicious aromas of melon and apricots enhance this rich creamy wine which shows excellent weight and persistence across the mid-palate. There is a soft and subtle finish of vanilla.
Chardonnays are big and bold and this one is a good example. Be brave and serve a power-packed seafood risotto or fruity pork or chicken dish. This wine can handle it.

| Winemakes notes: |
 |
| Harvest conditions were perfect with warm, mild temperatures. This ensured the grapes had both good ripeness and sugar levels. 10 months in French oak barriques and great care was taken to ensure oak characters did not dominate, instead there is emphasis on purity of fruit fully expressed. |
